Is it just me or is anyone else running out of people they like?

As I age the list grows shorter. But, to be honest, I’ve never been one to have a long list of friends. Male or female, I’d rather have maybe a half dozen people I really enjoy.

On SW, I’m a bit different. I like the content of a lot of people but really don’t reach out. I just don’t want to bother people.

Plus, ageism is an issue. If I was to reach out, some people would think you’re hitting on them rather than just conversing out of respect. I really just wouldn’t want anyone to think of me in that light.

Yes. Every time I move, I lose touch with people. Every time I've left SW, I have fewer friends when i return.

I have an ever shrinking list.

But i am also to blame as i have phases of work stress when i ignore my friends. 🫤

Did I get booted off the list? Doh. Again! It wouldn't be the first time. Even my parents booted me off their list. I'm like Rodney Dangerfield, who used to say - "When I was a kid, my parents kept moving from house to house, city to city all the time.....but I always found them!"

Indeed! This place will defo have that affect. Although I've never been much of a people person.

Always been an introvert. So I never was around a lot of people.

Same on social media. I am not the type to want to be popular.
