Absolutely can relate. You’re not ready to leave the characters and their stories. I get that way with certain books and television series too.
BTW, thanks for mentioning Elizabeth Strout. Hadn’t heard of her before. Seems great. Added several of her books to my reading list. Gonna start with Olive Kitteridge, the Pulitzer Prize winner. 🙂
