I am easily embarrased

I went to the tire shop since I had a flat tire.
They take your keys and drive it to the fixing area.
They fixed it and once I got back in my car, I realized I left a CD playing 🫣🥴💿

I doubt if they thought any less of you for that.

I have experienced the reverse: the repair shop people sometimes turn on the radio and leave it at full blast , which almost knocks me out of my seat when I turn the ignition on!

They probably took your car for a joy ride and forgot to turn off the cd player lol

I'm sure that happens all the time.

I hope it was something they could rock out to. The same thing happened to me and they almost didn't give my CD back
@SW-User did they like it that much or think of its existence as a crime?
SW-User
@NerdyPotato It was a classic rock collection and they were older gentlemen, so I guess you can say they loved it lol
What CD was it? 👀
@rosyhills that's not bad. There's plenty of worse music to admit listening to by choice.

@rosyhills

Was it *stifling a laugh* this one?!

@SW-User no but it has most of so those kinda
A CD? That is proper old school! 😁
@BritishFailedAesthetic Back in our youth we knew the author as Bob Stine, the editor of the popular 70's and 80's Scholastic magazines called Bananas.

@NativePortlander1970 No, he will always be R.L. Stine! 😁

@BritishFailedAesthetic Note that if your car only has a CD player it will only take CDs 😁.

By the way; for a while Vinyl records were thought very "old school". Now for some weird reason they're fashionable and all the rage. I still have some old ones that I love but they won't run on my new-school computer 😁 😁. Luckily I still have my Akai turntable and Advent speakers. Very old school and great sound. Produces more frequencies than my old school ears can hear.

Eh, no biggie at all.
rosyhills · 31-35, F
@ineedadrink it's probably current technology to you though...🤪
ineedadrink · 51-55, M
@rosyhills Oy! Have some respect for the aged. 😅
Was it Taylor Swift.... that'd be pretty embarrassing 😆
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
Probably happens a lot.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
What was playing?
rosyhills · 31-35, F
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@rosyhills Well, good. At least it wasn't somebody lame.
Musicman · 61-69, M
I always leave the radio on. What's wrong with that??? 🤷‍♂️
Musicman · 61-69, M
@rosyhills Exactly! We have CD players in all of our vehicles. 🙂
@rosyhills CDs are still current.
8-track tapes are not.
rosyhills · 31-35, F
@SomeMichGuy CDs are becoming pretty obsolete. Most cars nowadays don't even have CD players. My mom's 2015 doesn't have a CD player.
Vinyls are back though
Hopefully they didn't take the CD.
@rosyhills What was the CD?
rosyhills · 31-35, F
@rosyhills She's good
