I really like having lucid dreams. When I get to the point where I recognize I'm dreaming, I try to hold onto it and not wake up for as long as I can, because it's such a fascinating experience.

@DunningKruger I never been able to do that. I always wake up.

Have you ever been in a dream, wake up, go back to sleep and continue the dream? Lol 😝

It's the better case when you wake up. I often realize I'm in a dream but can't wake up. Then I feel like in limbo.

Not that I recall, but I do remember waking up from some nightmares and being thankful they were just dreams.

I've grown out of it now, but I used to have out of body experiences while I was sleeping. It's usually called sleep paralysis. I would TRY to wake up, realizing I was dreaming, and then I would realize I was still in my bed and could not wake up. Then I would DREAM I was awake, and try to get out of bed, but would end up right back in bed.

yes, it has happened to me... i think that might be what's referred to as lucid dreaming.

That's usually what happens for me. if I ever realize I'm dreaming I just instantly wake up.
