Sad poetry...Nothing Matters Anymore

Nothing matters anymore
I think I'm done, I think I'm sure.

Why should I cook or clean the house.
Why should I care, I don't know how.

The things that made life living for,
Has gone away, I care no more.

I'm not suicidal

I understand, or maybe better put, I could understand if I let myself go there.

I have moments like that, even days, but I work to find small joys in life, which when I do, brings me to other small joys... nothing big, but little things that somehow grow inside me and make life a joy.

Maybe you could do this... find one little thing that brings you at least contentment, if not joy, then build on it. I hope you can, life is worth fighting for... YOU are worth fighting for.

@melissa001 There you go! Start with that and build on it... you are important to them, they adore you, and knowing that makes life worth living.

Now, put a little note on your bathroom mirror that says something like "I am worth it, I am worth being happy for me!"

Buy yourself some flowers, interact with someone, go for walks with your animals... there is so much you can do to find that wonderful you that is hiding.

We've all been there. Adulting sucks! Take a deep breath, find your happy place, and take a day or two off. If the have kids or a SO tell them they need to pick up the slack. You are done! If smart, they will fill the void.
