Do remember watching that wasn’t scared at all

When I was around 9 or 10 the local movie theater had Saturday Horror Marathons that started at noon. You could watch 5 hours of horror movies for 25 cents. Got to sit through all the classic Vincent Price, Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee horror flicks, plus the standards from Bela Legosi, Lon Chaney and Boris Karloff. It was a good way for parents to get rid of their kids for an entire afternoon!!!

My cousin brother made me watch evil dead.

Horror movies were always my favorite when I was a kid.

When I was 14/15 I watched any horror movie I could get. I watched them almost every day.

@CrazyMusicLover And now you waste precious time on an electronic device.

I watched IT when I was 5. Fell in love with horror, but fell in hate with clowns.
Cloud7593 · 51-55, F
@TheRealBarbossa I read that book in high school.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M

Yes, we saw a lot of horror movies when I was a preteen: the Creature from the Black Lagoon series, Them, Tarantula, and others
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@exexec Independent TV out of NYC carried so many horror movies back in the 1950s and 1960s.
exexec · 70-79, C
@ChipmunkErnie Our local theater showed a lot of them on Saturdays.

When I was about 7 I stayed up to watch Werewolf of London (1935) on the late show but I was forced to go to bed before it ended. I laid there all night scared to death the werewolf would find its way to my room and kill me.
Ben1000 · 46-50, M
When I was 8 and my brother 6 we stayed at my Aunt and Uncle’s and they thought it’d be funny to scare us, they put An American Werewolf in London on.
It worked.
It worked.
MoveAlong · 70-79, M
Hell yeah, we lived for "monster movies". That's pretty much what we called any horror or scary movie. Frankenstein, Dracula, werewolf, Godzilla, all outer space movies.
