I didn't but years ago we had one of those machines in our office. You put 20p in and got about 4 or 5 chocolate buttons. One colleage asked me to hold the tilted machine at an angle while she put in her 20p and thumped the top. She got an extra large serving. When the supply man came out to empty the machine of coins and refill it he was swearing, as someone had deposited washers and foreign coins. He carted the machine off!!!
But, you know, when he picked up that tab I recalled sometimes seeing coins around many payphones (not many but sometimes two or three) laying on the ground at some of the busier corners.
@rinkydinkydoink I remember going through a toll booth with out any money, stopping opening the door and there were quarters all over the ground. picked one up and threw it in the basket and drove on.
