I Like Being Alone Because I Am Alone

Wow,this is really sad but I'll share it anyway haha.

I went to my dentist appointment last night.it was pretty quick and I completely embarrassed myself.
My dentist asked how I'll be spending my Christmas and I don't know how to lie so I said i wasn't really celebrating and that I don't really see my family that lives in the city.she said she was going to spend it with her sisters.
After that we went on to dealing my my braces.yes I wear braces and yes they do make me look like a child lol.
While the man was working on them his hand was touching my cheek.it felt warm.I then realized I liked how it felt on my cheek because it felt like somone was grabbing my face with one hand.

I think now that I haven't sleepy around in about 3 weeks I miss somone touching me...even if the only reason the person touch's me is because they want to get inside me.

It all made me realize how alone I really am.

I hope all that didn't sound too creepy or pathetic.

I think you will have hit the nail on the head with how a lot of people feel.
I’d say I feel the same, I hate this time of year and I miss the little things like waking up just before work and being able to throw my arm over someone and cuddle sleepily before work. Or having someone to just chill with in your arms on the sofa watching crap on tv.
It’s been four years for me and I still don’t sleep well, can’t get any sleeping tablets from the docs, wake at pretty much dead on 2.30am and then my brain goes over everything that has gone wrong in my life.
You are still young to meet someone and have everything you wish for, I didn’t settle down until 25 as I hadn’t met anyone I wanted to with.

Certainly not creepy or pathetic, just seems sad. The holidays are always tough on people that don't have anyone or any family to spend them with.

Do you have any friends who are celebrating? I always seem to have one set of friends thats inviting everyone over to their place.

no it doesn't sound creepy or pathetic , it sounds like a lonely person with Feelings but yet a nice person too , but also still young enough to find someone anyway , plus you're Female which greatly increases your chances of finding that someone

It didn't sound creepy or pathetic. Most of us are lonely at some point in our lives and I do get how you feel..

@covfefe234 thanks.it's nice to know that I'm not alone on this.

Nope. Sure sounded like a normal human seeking simple human contact.
