I saw clearly who was for or against me.

I'm actually very proud of myself.

I handled it well.

You need documentation. If and when you go to HR with your complaints, you have to back up your words with proof.

@Umile Yes...but that is still YOUR word against theirs. You need to record spoken words. Buy one of those little pocket pens that is also a tape recorder.

When my son was first promoted, I bought one for him, because there is a lot of back stabbing in upper management. I don't know if he ever had to use it.
