Sometimes I wish I could be someone's hero
There's nothing heroic about me though, at least in the conventional sense.

You may not be a physical hero, but who is in reality?
I spent 27 years in the Army and went to war and such, I do not feel like a hero, just a person torn up inside with the sights, sounds, smell/odors, memories, and twelve major surgeries from it all. I do not feel like a hero either, I just did my job the best I could, and I live with it the best I can today. My cross dressing is not sexual it is to see beauty in the mirror instead of all the blood and pain and loss including my son (Army service suicide at age21).
So, you have a very artistic hand, and your painting abilities are enviable by me. We all have our gifts and blessings so embrace that artful side you have because us who have been called physical hero's envy your skill and artistry.
