Kinda personal

@TryingtoLava Good point! 🤔
Human1000 · M
@TryingtoLava My first crush.
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@TryingtoLava No question about it. Cindy would now be as much of a lesbian as Robert Reed was gay.
RebelFox · 36-40, F
Because marriage seems to be for those that enjoy their cages.
RebelFox · 36-40, F
@Ozymandiaz the kind full of expectations, that prohibit growth and change. Marriage is for getting old and fat and dying together on a couch in a condo with palm trees and a heated pool.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@RebelFox omg 😳 🤣
Bluebirdsonmyshoulder · 46-50, F
@RebelFox HA HA HA
Miram · 31-35, F
The legal contract doesn't make sense to me. It is complicates the ability to just move on when one's well being is jeopardized. And there is consequential inequalities that rise from a divorce.

Seeing that having kids for me at this point is not probable, I have no concern for the safety of any offspring.

I do plan to only have 1 partner for life, recording it legally would only be out of necessity.
Doomflower · 36-40, M
I wear a wedding ring to throw them off the scent. 😬
chrisCA · M
@Doomflower For some, that is a challenge. 😅
@Doomflower Sneaky 😂
itsok · 31-35, F
@Doomflower I also have a wedding ring
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
My mother was divorced at 30. She said she never wanted to get married again. She dated but once she was proposed to she ended the relationship. She’s now 73 and she loves her life. She travels all over and doesn’t answer to anyone. I asked her once if she regrets not marrying again and she said no, my father did her in.
Nanori · F
Marriage rules in my country = slavery
🤷‍♀️
Torsten · 36-40, M
because there is not benefit in it for men anymore. Divorce rates are up to around 70% and I dont like those odds and I like my stuff and money and not going to loss half of it or more over a failed relationship.
I dont need a certificate to be happy
Torsten · 36-40, M
@graphite I havent heard of that happening before but shouldnt be surprised really. the risks are too great to take
graphite · 61-69, M
@Torsten Guys who fall behind in child support or alimony, even if they are unable to work, can find themselves in the slammer. If you lose your job, good luck getting a reduction in the amounts owed.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@graphite ahh yep I get ya now
Dlrannie · 31-35, F
Sadly my fiancé died in an accident a couple of months before our wedding ☹️
MntoNc · 36-40, M
Honestly if youre a man, its not in your best interest to get married because it provides incentives to a woman to get divorced at the expense of the man (generally). But getting married is a risk
Bluebirdsonmyshoulder · 46-50, F
@MntoNc it's a risk for both for different reasons.
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@Bluebirdsonmyshoulder If the woman is the high earner, it is a risk to her. I don't know any other downside for a woman.
Because im divorced.
Ambroseguy80 · 51-55, M
@Bexsy seems logical 😄
BlueVeins · 22-25
bc I'm only attracted to people who are higher-value partners than I am
graphite · 61-69, M
Guys can be hit with devastating financial losses and loss of their children, along with decades of child support and lifetime alimony, simply because she feels "unfulfilled in the relationship." Women file about 70-80% of divorces, with assurances that he'll most likely be blamed for the breakup (even if he's done nothing wrong) and she'll get the kids 85% of the time. And let's not get into how many men are hit with child support for kids that aren't even theirs. Happens quite a bit.
Nebula · 41-45, F
Nobody wants to be stuck with me 😩
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
Monogamy doesn't work for me.
SW-User
I feel too young to be married. I do foresee myself getting married some day. Just not yet. My current relationship has lasted for almost three years, much longer than any other relationship I've been in. But I don't know how long-term this can be. I'm not in a rush at this point.
SW-User
Married... a word most are not liking anymore. lol
I don't think anyone would marry me at this stage in life. I have become set in my ways too.
Too often, people see marriage as a bad thing now.
I don't even bother dating or looking for a partner. Nothing is like it use to be.
VirginMatchmaker · 46-50, M
Because I'm twice divorced and only recently finished another 2.5 year relationship. Time to figure out me even if I am lonely
Quetzalcoatlus · 46-50, M
I don’t recommend it for everyone. It’s a very important responsibility not to be taken lightly…
SW-User
The day people stop cheating, i will get married
chrisCA · M
@SW-User Maybe monogamy is overrated?
SW-User
@chrisCA it certainly is
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
I don't want to be married. I trust people less and less as I age.
SW-User
I am the same way. I slap myself for trusting vile people in the past. @Beatbox34
I found the guy, but at the moment, we live in two different countries.
Ferric67 · M
I don't play well with others (over time). I like my alone time too much.
WhateverWorks · 36-40
I’d like to get married, but it would hurt me financially
IronHamster · 56-60, M
Marriage is to keep one's crime partner from testifying against you, but other than that and inheritance it is a terrible stain on society. There are billions of people on earth. How many can really find a partner that can mutually meet each others needs for the next fifty or so years? Very few, if any.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
Because I’m not married
SW-User
@DeluxedEdition shut up and marry me
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@SW-User I am now engaged 😌🤌❤️
TheCoolestCat · 31-35, M
@TheCoolestCat In coming proposal?
TheCoolestCat · 31-35, M
ah no lol, ive got my sights on someone else sorry
@TheCoolestCat And you didnt even let me down gently 😂
Because my life is insane.
Divorced it was hell for me
hunkalove · 61-69, M
Just lucky, I guess.
Well I'd go with Weddings are stupid and expensive which you know is true but it's not why I personally haven't.

The person I'm with doesn't practice monogamy and as a result marriage is largely out of the question.
I don't understand weddings anymore it's just like here's a good way to blow a ton of money just in some vane attempt to make our friends jealous.

who cares if my friends are jealous? I don't need them to be. WTF?
SW-User
I tried it…
SkeetSkeet · 100+, F
I haven't found a serious candidate
@SkeetSkeet Sounds like a rigourous application processs 😂
@Ozymandiaz shes a beautiful girl
SW-User
@SkeetSkeet 🙄 *raises hand*
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
Because I split with my partner a year ago as over the years she has changed into someone I dont know and didnt particularly like and I am now looking for a young lady more like me .
cycleman · 61-69, M
Epilepsy ... killed my confidence in many ways. People rejecting me with my confusion, I guess taught me to be a loner.
spjennifer · 56-60, T
60-70% of my peers in my age group have been divorced at least once, what's so great about marriage?
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
She doesn't want to be married. At this point I think it would just be financially a bad move.
SW-User
Bf and I aren't even living together yet so it would be a little too soon.
specman · 51-55, M
Because after my divorce of a 25 yr. Marriage I found that she is the only person I want.
SW-User
My future wife is so hot that may burn my bed so not staying with her at all. 😐😐😐
Fire woman.
FurryFace · 61-69, M
i don't socialize much plus i'm Old and Poor , doesn't tend to open many doors
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M

GeniUs · 56-60, M
Gambling half my shit (again) to see if true love is forever. Nope.
GoneSilent · 26-30, F
Still haven't found the one who accepts me.
Sidewinder · 36-40, M

ravenhill · M
