You shouldn't let someone else's opinion of you taint your self-esteem. One person's opinion about you does not define you as an individual. For that one person who is narrow-minded, there are hundreds of others who will raise you up and tell you that you can do anything.

@smiler2012 I use to be fast at math and it was my subject of interest but I always dwelt with insecurities. I got rejected from an academy when I was young.Lost interest in school at young age. During middle school there was revival a interest in school lost it to my insecurities. In highschool I dwell with my insecurities and no psychologist from school ever talked to me. But, my speed for math was always their but I never push my prowess to the limit. I never put my educational prowess to the limit either. I avoid customer services jobs or anything like that because I have an accent and my insecurities come out. I worked with a white devil perfectionist and he destroyed my confidence now I second guess myself a lot I get nervous doing math now. I was faster than him in math but now I have become slower.

Fuq em ... prove to yourself that you can do a job anyway ...it's OK to feel the way you feel..just don't give up on yourself because of one person ...
