What is the difference between being pretty and being beautiful ?

I would say pretty refers more to the outer appearance, beautiful refers more to the deeper beauty.

pretty gets you a chevy, beautiful a Mercedes

Pretty is on the outside

Beautiful is on the inside

Gonna echo others.

Pretty is reflective of what’s seen on outside that can easily make you smile catching the sight of.

Beautiful is when there’s more than a smile…more of a breathtaking effect that penetrates your core by their outside, their actions, and/or their existence in general.

Perhaps most importantly is that regardless of its name, nothing that comes and goes is us.

Thought that beautiful is even more good looking than pretty?

I can't explain it. My wife's inner beauty was always there, but she was visibly pretty in high school and almost overnight became a true beauty in college. In high school, people would say, "She's pretty." Two years later, they would do a double take and say, 'Wow, she's beautiful!" Maybe it was maturity and her ever-resent smile.

Pretty is on the outside. Beautiful is on the inside. A person’s heart and mind.

Being beautiful is natural. No make up or anything... pretty is a lil work

To me, pretty is physical appearance. Beautiful is both inward and outward appeal.

Pretty is generally universally recognized. Beautiful depends on who you ask.
