Can you handle being alone or will you settle to avoid it?

I cut off the bad parts and take the good.

Think I'd sooner be alone if I'm honest.
Based on personal experience.
Anybody you get into a relationship with is going to have their own idiosyncrasies.
Some you'll like, some will drive you crazy and some they'll tell you are as a result of past experience and use it as more of an excuse for bad behaviour they refuse to do anything about

I will gladly be alone. I don't want to be, but because I won't settle I've accepted that it might never happen.

Been alone since 2011. Well accustomed to it now. Not so bad.

I’d never settle for a bad relationship or an empty one, but if I hadn’t found the right partner I’d team up with somebody, like a friend in a similar boat to be ‘long-term’ roomies, sure. Life is so much less stressful when you have someone in it with you who’s got your back.

I have all that I need.
