my boyfriend was honest to me.

He told me he had a feeling or lust for this girl while they were away for a week with church members. He said nothing happened because everytime, there seems to be stopping it. I asked him what if nothing stopped it? Well, i guess they'll DO it. Should i trust him? He said, he made a mistake to be weak by that time and that he loves me.because a feeling with lust is not love, and that's what he had with that girl. Should i trust him?

No actually im gonna change my answer. My ex was apparently 'honest' too. It all depends on how smart your ex is. Mine was extremely smart, and he told me stuff that guys wouldn't tell their exes so that he gave the appearance that he was honest. For example, he told me that he met up with this girl that has a crush on him (he knew I wouldn't like it) and that he had feelings for her but they weren't deep. I was so stupid I was just like 'oh okay at least he was honest and said he'd never meet up with her again'. So then months later despite asking him 'do you get pictures off of girls' and him saying no, I messaged a girl asking her and she said they had sent pictures. He was cheating the whole time
