My first girlfriend had an older sister that had LONG red hair. She could wrap it around her waist. That was when I got my education on having long hair. Headaches, taking all day to dry when washed, always having to think about where your hair is and what it is doing.

... do as you wish, you know your self more than anyone in the SW, but in my opinion, getting it comfortable is more important than having it nice

You must live somewhere hot, Jessa. We don't have to consider these things in Canada. It will rarely get above 30C or 86F

I personally think long hair looks awesome on girls. Have you thought about putting it into a bun or anything to hold you over until you get it done? And yea I can understand how the heat makes it rougher. I have short hair so I don't have hair problems XD
