I'm so confused on this assignment

So, I have a pretty awful bio teacher, and she's super hard on her students (for no reason because we're in an average class in HS).
The other day, she handed us this one assignment on Friday (due on Thursday), and basically told us, "figure it out yourselves." The whole class is clueless on how to do this assignment, and the teacher does answer our questions, but not in a way where we'll understand.
We have to make up 2 experiments based off the objective questions, and compare and contrast evolution crap based on an amino acid chain sequence. It's really confusing, and I have no clue on what I'm doing. This assignment is due on Thursday, and I haven't even started it.
What should I do? I can't go to my teacher, because she'll just say ask a classmate (A girl that was absent on Friday asked what she had to do and our teacher told her to ask the person sitting next to her).

My teacher is looking for detailed answers with evidence and reasoning by the way.
A bio college course wouldn't even be this hard (I know this from my sister based off the stories she told me).

Try searching online for a similar set of experiment parameters and see if you can find some indication of how to proceed.
Also, consider how many marks is this assignment worth to your final grade for the term or semester. Is it worth losing much sleep over?
Good luck!

I was thinking about that, and my teacher never mentioned what kind of grade it is (or if it's going to be part of the other packets).

I don't really need to worry about it anymore, because I finally figured out what I had to do.

@BlackBloodDemon: Good luck then! Hope you ace it. :)

Umm... this makes no sense.
"We have to make up 2 experiments..." to test what?
"... compare and contrast..." what?
"... based on an amino acid chain sequence" I assume you're referring to proteins, so, what about them?

We had to make up 2 experiments based off these 2 objective questions. So basically, my teacher only wanted us to come up with a method on how to answer the objective questions (we weren't really supposed to find answers to those objective questions).

And then for the other part, we only had to make predictions on what we believed which animals were more closely related to each other through evolutionary ancestors.

I figured out what I had to do, and even completed the assignment (thank god).

What were the objective questions?
BlackBloodDemon · 22-25
@newjaninev2:
Objective Question #1: Are seals and whales more closely related than to representive mammals such as dogs and cows?
Objective Question #2: Did marine mammals come from land mammals?

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

Perhaps your sister could help or you could have a study group with other students from the class and work on it together.

My sister can't help me, because she doesn't understand the assignment either (we don't even believe in evolution so this assignment is just 10x worse than it really is).

And the class can't get together because everyone has different schedules. I don't know anyone in that class anyway.
