Opinions on parents going through their kids' phones?

I just wanna hear it from you guys. I went on my phone and I automatically was on my text

messages that I did not scroll through. Turns out it was my mom. Do you think its right for them

to do this? i didn't even do anything. I have nothing to hide, but these things are still personal.

My parents have only checked my phone once and it's cuz I was high as shit and half asleep. Pretty sure my dad saw a nude. Now I have a lock on my phone and no one knows the pattern

Yeah. I needed to use my daughter's phone (my son had dropped mine in the toilet) and she forgot what texts were up when she handed it to me. She was exchanging pretty graphic nudes with her girlfriend. I didn't say anything beyond "be careful," but she thought she was going to die of embarrassment.
