How to love yourself?

Everything keeps going wrong, I keep hurting people without meaning it....I keep trying to become a better person but I hate myself so much that everything I do is destined to fail and every time I fail I hate myself even more...how do I stop this...? I am scared that I won't ever succeed anything because my self hatred keeps telling me I won't do anything right... I really need help...

Practice self acceptance psychology, meditate, read self-help books they can honestly help if you know how to apply the knowledge. See a psychologist. Find a mentor or role model. Learn not to compare yourself to others etc. hope this helps.

Sorry but...
Find a role model
Not compare to others

What's the point of a role model?

Like I said...sorry

It's alright and by role model I mean someone you look up to, someone you wouldnt mind becoming like, a person that inspires you. The point of a role model is of course to learn from them and how they became happy/successful.

Also, comparing one self to others is not good in my opinion. There will always be some better than you as there can always be someone worse. Everyone's life is different so it would be unfair to compare yourself to others that have it much better than you because maybe their life is not as hard as yours etc.

@dark325: I try not to compare myself to others but when I see everyone in class passing all tests and me failing them all...it's hard not to compare myself to them

I know how you feel and it can definitely be difficult. Most of us are condition to keep comparing ourselves to others. I still continue to do it sometimes (especially at the gym) but anyway It is because of these reasons that you can't be too hard on yourself if you're still not good at it. It takes practice, from what I've learned the mind can be trained and condition just like the body.

I'm rambling but as to you not passing while others or most of your class is succeeding, there can be many factors that contribute to this.

Some of these factors you might not be aware of. Like for me I could never figure out why I couldn't pay attention in class, why I had to study the material after class on my own. Turns out it was because of my social anxiety which I didn't even know what it was or that I had it.

@dark325: I know what's holding me back, non stop pain. Mental pain which has become so strong that my muscles actually start to ache
