I have been advised to block incomplete profiles/accounts here

The person advocating for this has said that it doesn’t take much to complete the process of having avatars and posts, that if anonymity is the only concern for the users there is nothing to being able to give others things to talk about and to use a cartoon character, or some abstract art or image to make an avatar.

She says that she immediately blocks anyone who adds her with nothing to their profile and no contact of any sort.

I mean should a profile give contact info phone number email address? That provides the opportunity to be hacked. Similarly the internet is about being anyone. So why use a picture of yourself. No one wants to be recognized in the real world from their profile pic on similar worlds. Does your friend want that? Maybe on facebook. But in general the internet is about annonymity. If you are trying to meet peope pics should be exchange in messages not just for everyone to see.
