I’m 37 single, I live next door to my parents but it’s attached to their house. I moved in with them on lockdown and then they decided to build me a house extension. Over 2 years later I’m still there. It’s a lovely little house just for me. I’m celibate the last few years.

It's foolish to pay a double a mortgage on rent when you have family support. Moving out on your own at a young age is a very American concept to keep as many citizens as possible stuck in the hamster wheel. Unless you want 15-20 percent of your mortgage payment to go towards interest you don't need to buy a home in this economy. And sex is just like moving out. It's blasted all over entertainment and it's just ends up getting a lot of teens and early 20's pregnant and fucked for generations. Basically it sounds like this guy just hasn't been manipulated by aggressive marketing. Unless of course he's been trying to be a fuck boy and has failed his whole life and has no aspirations of ever leaving his parents place

How often you stuck your dick in something means nothing to nobody.
29 and living with parents could mean a lot of things. My wife had a lawyer friend who lived with his mom well into his 30s. The guy is living the “normal” life now.
How do you feel about your life?

I've seen many. Basically they fit this profile:
One parent hates him while the other thinks he can do no wrong?
He uses them against each other.
He cries when he can't have his way.
He threatens self harm to terrify mom.
He says bad things about his dad behind his back.
He pontificates like an industrial titan but looks like a gigantic couch potato with the mind of a 3 year old brat.
And cries in front of mommy to get his way.

I don't have a problem with it. Frankly, if he had a partner, it might be a bigger problem but nowadays there are many families where young couples live at the place of the parents of one of them. It sounds crazy but cost of living is high in some parts of the world.

Same here except I'm 35.

Not the best situation but definitely not the worst. I didn't have sex until I was 25 ish. I didn't move out of my parents house until I was 29.
At the moment I am still single but I am sharing my house with a couple of friends who are paying me rent.

Times are tough.
And Rent is expensive.
Makes sense to save up and plan for your future while living at home.
Paying your way of course.
