Urgent advice needed

My son is currently living with us in a very small flat with his gf, baby and dog. The dog has become very aggressive with me. He bites me every time i go into the kitchen. I thought the problem was him being inside all the time in a very small space. Taking him out more hasnt helped. He is only aggressive to me. I have always been very kind to him, let him sleep in my bed when they are away, give him treats, never ever raised a hand to him or even my voice. Today he has hurt me badly, he bit my hand and i am now unable to move it. He is a big dog of mixed breeds and is not neutered which he should be. Any advice on this would help.

I would put him on a leash tied to the couch, and feed him there. But continue to give him treats when he is good and say "good dog" when he is nice, and be stern and say "NO" firmly when he growls. Also hire a professional trainer to come a few times it won't cost very much. A dog is easily trained. Dogs need daily walks, mental stimulation, play times, cuddle times, and good nutrition (lots of protein). NEVER hit a dog ever!

@Carazaa I would never hit an animal. He needs a proper home with a garden to run in.

@Jojo72
I've never harmed an animal in my life, but i tried using a rolled up newspaper, hit it against my leg hoping the sound would scare him, he just became more aggressive.
Scaring him is not recommended. scaring him will make a dog more aggressive. And if dogs are not allowed then I would ask if you can keep him, or find a good home for him. The Landlord could evict. You are very kind to your son but I would never break the lease agreement to help someone unless their life was in danger. It is important that you have a good rental history. This is your life and future.

@Carazaa Due to conditions in my country, we are a family in crisis, like many other families. We had no other option. And I would never put my son or granddaughter out on the street. Family sticks together, no matter how difficult the situation gets. The good news is that they have found a boarder to house him with until they find a place to live or a new permanent owner for him. They have also agreed to have him fixed as soon as funds become available. He isnt a bad dog at heart.
