Urgent advice needed

My son is currently living with us in a very small flat with his gf, baby and dog. The dog has become very aggressive with me. He bites me every time i go into the kitchen. I thought the problem was him being inside all the time in a very small space. Taking him out more hasnt helped. He is only aggressive to me. I have always been very kind to him, let him sleep in my bed when they are away, give him treats, never ever raised a hand to him or even my voice. Today he has hurt me badly, he bit my hand and i am now unable to move it. He is a big dog of mixed breeds and is not neutered which he should be. Any advice on this would help.

What's your son and his gf doing about it ?

Bite his girlfriend's hand to say how the dog bit you.. so they do something about it like buy a dog crate.

@in10RjFox This has been going on for awhile and nothing has been done yet. The gf refuses to get rid of the dog because she got him with her late father. I know its heartbreaking to give up a pet, but it has to be done. This dog has racing hind legs and jumps very high, he needs a home where he has space to run. She doesnt grasp that she is being cruel to the dog. I have told them they have until Wednesday to find a place for him to go. She is still expecting me to look after the dog when they will be away for the night.

@PoetryNEmotion Unfortunately they dont have anywhere else to go. They have both just started job training and I could never put my granddaughter on the street, but the dog has to go.

@Jojo72 Then you will pay the price. Tell them to go to a shelter. Take the grandaughter in. They take the dog. When push comes to shove, they will find solutions. Do you want to end up worse? Value your life.
