because in modern times its more acceptable. old people will be like what is this and you'll be like ooh so you like your hobbies and i like mine i don't see the issue "now bugger off"!

A bit like it seem to happen with we men and Santa (the famous four stages about)

There is a new view on this.
Says that some grade of it is one aspect of evolutive human nature, our need to look for meaningful patterns.
So we all have it to a certain degree. And as a lot of problems is the out of proportion of something that in other conditions is not only normal but also needed.

On being "weyrd"
A man was buying furniture and the one selling said:
"In this table you can sit a dozen without problems"
His answer:
"Now tell me how can I find twelve ones without a problem?"

i mean autistic people are actuality often better at working in modern environments the issue remains people :p

also i might have skipped the you are santa part, on a hot festival i smeared some sunscrean in my beard and people shook my hand and thanked for christmas!
