My grandparents said my handwriting really sucks that I write like an 5 year old. Should I be offended?

So yesterday I wrote down a shopping list. I told them I know my handwriting is bad but at least I can read it. My grandpa said, “No it bad, it SUCKS. It sucks so bad you write like a five year old. Even your 12 year old niece writes better than you.” I have him a looks.
Then he said, “Well it’s the truth. YOU brought it up. You suck at writing but hey your mother’s handwriting sucked too so you go it from her. Told her the same thing.
My grandma said, “You’re in college and 20 years old, so your handwriting shouldn’t be this bad. Redo it.”
Man my grandparents are brutally blunt.
I know it’s true but why am I offended?
Even my late father said my handwriting SUCKS straight up.
I rewrote it and they said it is better but not excellent.
