My guy friend (that likes me) is disappointed about my behavior and called me out. Why do I feel bad?

Apparently my now ex best friends told him what I did to them and so he confronted me harshly about the way I’ve behaved. I’ve not been honest, yelling at them and screaming when I’m the one that asked for the truth and twisting words around and being lazy about planning outings and one of the girls said I mad things worse because I’m not putting the effort of the planning and making them look like idiots. I never said they were idiots. My guy friend (let’s call him David the one that likes me) said she has a point and they were telling the truth but I am too stubborn to hear them out. He said it upsets him about the manipulative, selfish person that I became and it wasn’t the person he knew since 7th grade. David also said I don’t asked about them or how they been doing anything and all I ever do I swallow in self pity which is pathetic and I’m just plain worthless. He said no wonder they ended the friendship with me. Wow I hear him say that is really horrible and harsh.
David said he liked me since 7th grade and now he is having second thoughts about me and he doesn’t even know who I am anymore or can’t trust me. They were talking on the video chat and he doesn’t wanna talk to me until I change. David really did a great job making me feel like crap.
Man why do I feel bad?

He doesn’t sound like he likes you!? 🤔

@Chrisy3 That’s not true! I’m gonna have to admit he doesn’t have a point about how I was acting but that does not mean that he likes me

@easterniowegin How is that tough love?
Chrisy3 · 18-21, F
@LaylaTheTallGirl so he DOESN’T have a point about how you were acting? And that does not mean that he likes you!?

So by your own reckoning you’re suggesting he doesn’t like you?

I’m not making any suggestions here, merely interpreting what you’re saying!?

Look, we all make mistakes in life. It isn't the mistakes that should define us, rather what we have learned from those mistakes and how those mistakes have made us better people. And for the people who stuck by our sides while we move past those experiences, those are the People we should hang on to and cherish
