Think about the possibility that the other person has already let go and moved on. I let my anger simmer for far too long after my divorce. You can’t let it continue to eat at you. At some point you have to ask yourself if carrying that emotional baggage is worth it. It isn’t.

@JohnnyNoir I agree you just have to let it go. I’m done being angry and feeling hurt. I really want to just let everything go so I guess it just starts with that way of thinking and with time you will feel indifferent.
