What is the best reading device?

Thinking of getting a Kindle. I read a LOT. Just had cataract surgery, wear reading glasses.
let your eyes the next few weeks. both of my parents had cataract surgery. they'll (your eyes) need some time to adjust to daylight and reading can be very exhausting for the eyes when you just had an eye surgery. No matter if it's real paper books or a kindle. ;) Just give it a few weeks (up to six weeks).

The one thing I object to with all the newer devices is that you are forced to get all your books from a specific bookstore. I use a Naxa Noodle, which is actually an older device but you can still get them on ebay. You can use your own material and it does take several, but not all, reading systems. Mostly I convert and use text.

Kindle is very good the screen is clear and you can easily adjust font, size, line spacing etc. I know people who struggle with a book who find it much better on kindle

Google - whole page magnifier - and one of those might help. Having said that, your optometrist should bring your reading specs up to standard after about 6 weeks following operation.

Are books out of the question? If so then Kindles look good. I've not used one much but my parents love theirs.
