Not just in this current climate but any time you want to verify research or just plain read to learn about topics you may only have just become aware of.

No one source. I like to watch/read a variety of news from different countries to get a broader overview. Likewise with learning about topics but I may start with Google to find them. Clear as mud? 馃き
@Zoranna I agree with the 鈥渟trategy of monitoring other countries news ie not just reports tailored to your country region or zone. We all have to start somewhere. Googles just kinda become the Dewey decimal system of the inter web.
