you might be right, but don't take things so personally. If your nanny need reassurance, and doing so with make things clearer or easier, then reply her text. She might've thought you got upset with her and wanted to make sure if you still wanted her to work with you

@TheProtectedOfOrion There is no reason to think I am upset though. I just find her draining, she's great with Ethan but so draining.
TheProtectedOfOrion · 26-30, F
@Jenni855 different people perceive things differently, you might think you replied in a calm manner but she might believe otherwise
Jenni855 · 36-40, F
@TheProtectedOfOrion I don't think my text was rude.

Im not sure the history here but you have an attitude.Remember it was you who offered to cover the job.Maybe she's counting on that money hoping you reconsidered.You really should have left it up to her if she felt well enough to work.
Butterflykisses24 · 51-55, F
@Jenni855 I am responsible enough to call in sick if needed.Dont need my boss telling me not to call me in.Listen.Id quit if I was working for you.Ypu don't think about people's feelings.
Jenni855 · 36-40, F
@Butterflykisses24 You are not reading my post properly.
I helped her out by saying she didn't have to come in. I gave her an extra day of rest. How is that not thinking about her feelings?
Butterflykisses24 · 51-55, F
Ok as long as you paid her or would be taking away her wages.@Jenni855
Why are you feeling this way about someone who works for you? Perhaps is time to change the nanny and get someone you don't have you can communicate a bit better. From your both posts sounds like there is more to it! Neither you or her needs this kind of stress. Offer her to meet up and sort this communication issue out or simply let her go and find someone you're more comfortable with.
Jenni855 · 36-40, F
@Awfullybrave I think I will just find someone else. I need someone more laidback
@Jenni855 There is your answer !

Jesus Christ. lol.

@SW-User What?

@Jenni855 this is a non issue in my opinion, tell her what she needs to know. It's not a big deal, just a few texts.

It would probably take less time to exchange a few texts with her than making this long ass post complaining about it.
Jenni855 · 36-40, F
@SW-User I can't keep reassuring her that my plans are not changing. She is not a child. I have had a stressful day and can't be dealing with her texts.

@Jenni855 Very self centered!
Jenni855 · 36-40, F
@curiosi Why? I replied to her text and told her I would cover tomorrow. How is that self centred?

@Stereoguy but I am not. I have said already that I need her help but every time I cancel or rearrange she asks me again 😐
