Who is right?

My nanny had a migraine yesterday but was not working for us that day, I just knew about it.
I texted her today asking her how she was and she said still a bit sore but she was sure she would be fine for tomorrow. I replied with.

'Just leave tomorrow Emily. Get yourself sorted. I can pick up Ethan.'

I then felt a bit annoyed as she texted twice more. Once saying she was going to her other job as normal tomorrow but it was up to me if I still wanted her to do collection for Ethan and then another one asking if I still needed her to work for me long term as she needed to be aware if my plans had changed.

She meant in terms of if she is needed long term. I haven't replied as I am feeling stressed today and I don't feel i really need to reply as the second text just asked me to tell her if my plans were changing and as present they are not. However, my sister said I am acting weirdly and that I should text her back to reassure her. My nanny is not a child and the text did not need a response.

Why are you feeling this way about someone who works for you? Perhaps is time to change the nanny and get someone you don't have you can communicate a bit better. From your both posts sounds like there is more to it! Neither you or her needs this kind of stress. Offer her to meet up and sort this communication issue out or simply let her go and find someone you're more comfortable with.
