Who is right?

My nanny had a migraine yesterday but was not working for us that day, I just knew about it.
I texted her today asking her how she was and she said still a bit sore but she was sure she would be fine for tomorrow. I replied with.

'Just leave tomorrow Emily. Get yourself sorted. I can pick up Ethan.'

I then felt a bit annoyed as she texted twice more. Once saying she was going to her other job as normal tomorrow but it was up to me if I still wanted her to do collection for Ethan and then another one asking if I still needed her to work for me long term as she needed to be aware if my plans had changed.

She meant in terms of if she is needed long term. I haven't replied as I am feeling stressed today and I don't feel i really need to reply as the second text just asked me to tell her if my plans were changing and as present they are not. However, my sister said I am acting weirdly and that I should text her back to reassure her. My nanny is not a child and the text did not need a response.

you might be right, but don't take things so personally. If your nanny need reassurance, and doing so with make things clearer or easier, then reply her text. She might've thought you got upset with her and wanted to make sure if you still wanted her to work with you

@TheProtectedOfOrion There is no reason to think I am upset though. I just find her draining, she's great with Ethan but so draining.

@Jenni855 different people perceive things differently, you might think you replied in a calm manner but she might believe otherwise

@TheProtectedOfOrion I don't think my text was rude.
