Do we really need God in our lives?

Since the beginning of human origins we have had a knowledge, curiosity, and need for something bigger than ourselves. Something we can turn to and rely on when the rest of the world and its inhabitants do not make sense or lets us down. I tend to believe in it, I trust it...I do not always understand it nor can I fully explain or "prove" it, but I know it's there and how it has touched and affected my life. That's all I need to know, That's what I call God, and if that makes me "crazy" or "stupid" then that's just the opinion of others.
