How does email sound to a prospective employer?

Hello____

My name is______ and I have been trying to contact you regarding the positions that I have applyed for with [company].

I am very interested in working for the company because _____and think it will be a great opportunity for me to _____.

How do I politely ask for an interview?

Details:
-I have applied for numerous jobs for this company.
-They called me last month and i missed the call. i was honestly in CPR class, which was minimum qualification FOR the job.
-I returned their call and haven't heard back. I called weekly for about a month.
-Each number they give me, when I call, leads to ONE voice-mail system. The person has not returned my calls so I asked for the persons email.
-I have asked for an interview via voice-mail but again, they don't return call.

Instead of the e-mail, I probably would find someone who works at any company you're interested in or a position you'd like to have and schedule an informal interview with them. Your goal with this is not asking for a job but learning about the company, industry, dream job, networking, etc. Linkedin is probably one of the best resources for this.

@iamnikki Good. Keep doing it because it's a wonderful technique to repeat. Professionals use Linkedin.
