This is strange and sort of awkward question to answer...How could you possibly not even have an idea of how sex works? This has the markings of a joke question. Sorry, but I grew up mostly through the 70's and early 80's, and even though my parents never had "the talk" with me and sex ed in schools didn't yet exist...I knew the "mechanics" of it from even a very early age. Even back then, sex was pretty much out in the open and it has been even more so in the past couple of decades. It's just incomprehensible that you don't know anything at all about it at 27 years old. Pardon me for being skeptical. If this is true, please enlighten me.

@everyoneisunique90 It makes more sense now that you said that and I understand what you meant. I don't know what to tell you, only that it will come naturally if and when you meet the right guy. It will probably be a bit scary and definitely awkward, but sex is something not only shared but also learned (though experience).

Once you put yourself in the position, I'm sure it will come to you. Just be easy about it and don't get too crazy, especially the first time. And above all, if HE starts to get crazy or wants you to do things you're not comfortable with, don't be afraid to say NO! If he doesn't respect that, he's not the one you want to do it with in the first place.

Surely you must have some idea. If you are asking about specific sexual acts, there are some excellent online references to describe specific acts: missionary; cowgirl, reverse cowgirl: etc.
