As an artist, why don't I get any attention?

I noticed that anytime I post my art somewhere, no one comments on it, critiques it, or even likes it. As an artist it just makes me feel as if my art is bad or something and that hurts my self esteem.... Especially when mediocre art, or just bad beginners art in general, gets more attention. Like is my art bad??

I went to art school myself. If you want criticism, I can give you mine. 馃懙 It looks really good, but I'm missing depth in your art. You need to learn more to work with shadow and light. Try to look at an object with one eye closed. And then squeeze your eyes so you look through your lashes. That's how I learned to focus on light and dark, so it will look more realistic. You've also drawn a lot like in one direction. I see lines going in the same direction, while you can play with lines, you can add shadows by drawing lines in different directions. I think you use different thicknesses of pencils, perhaps you should try drawing with charcoal or one type of pencil and draw lines, dots, curles, play with it, experiment, experiment! That's how I've learned :) Practice makes art ;) You're on the good way!!!! 馃憤

Aww thank you for that advice :) I've never heard of that technique with squinting your eyes like that before, did you come up with it? I'll look into it. I should've done cross hatching, don't you think?
@MsFuzzWuzzOreoCat: The squinting eyes is what I have learned at night school doing many years Observation Art (I even wanted to become a teacher :) Was very good at it :) ) I went to artschool since I was a teenager, and in my spare time since I was 8 I also learned a lot at the art academy (night school). When I was a child that was day school, only turned night school when I got older LOL But I haven't drawn anything in a long time now.. Only 3d display boxes and graphic designing for work LOL :) You can draw cross hatching, but there are sooo many ays to draw really, it's all about experimenting. I remember my teacher at art night school told us "There's really only one way to learn how to draw, and that's experiment, experiment, experiment, until you get the desired result." Here's a photo I discovered on google images, I think it well explains different techniques you can try out:
Good luck!!!!! :D
