Do you think it's wrong for a married woman to have a crush on someone, like a coworker?

@mainvane Forgiveness or the myth that men cannot be monogamous?

@Graylight both

@mainvane Well, forgiveness is absolutely possible and the only reason scientists assume females are more monogamous and less sexually driven than men is that Darwin, the first and most influential writer on human evolution, unconsciously reflected the Victorian mores of his time. Meta-analyses of the data indicate there's little difference in rates of monogamy. It's just another BS alpha-male "we gotta breed" excuse.

@Graylight sounds like good, objective research wrapped in a rather subjective conclusion....are you a man hater?
Graylight · 51-55, F
@mainvane Absolutely not. And for the record, very few women are. What I am tired of is sooo many guys walking around with some BS argument in their head they use as an excuse for bad behavior. "It's in my genes, babe" doesn't really play in 2023. That is a subjective conclusion, you are correct, but I've heard the argument enough times to believe it's not irrelevant.
