Samsung Galaxy S8. I've used it for over a year now with no problem. If you have been using the S5 you'll like the S8. :)

my guess if the phone works leaving you able to say towards the telecommunication giants I have my phone, offer me something, they'll be more receiving to giving you a deal. I'm not ignoring what you said, just don't be surprised they all take advantage of your situation.

Just got rid of my blackberry priv. It was an awesome phone, but starting giving me too many headaches. I bought an LG for $150 USD and so far love it. It isn't the latest and greatest, but the battery life is great, and has a replaceable battery, so I carry a charged spare anyway. It isn't water resistant though.

Don't get an iphone 7+. they dont have headphone jacks or require like a $25 special cord to plug headphones into.

Moto-G series has had consistently good indepenent reviews, especially for the price.
