Should I leave?

My family has accepted the man who sexually assaulted me back as if nothing has happened. I plan to spend a few months to a year away from my family since it's effecting me. I love my family, but I can't pretend like I'm okay with the man who assaulted me still being around. Why did my sister not go through with divorce like she said she was :( Should I leave even if they would be against it?
