Lifting your spirits after a long night?

I'm a live in carer and have had a particularly bad night. I know I've got a long day ahead of me too. I try to listen to music and chat with friends to cheer me up but today I feel low. How do you mentally prepare yourself for a tough day?
I cared for my mother 24/7 for her last 18 months.
It was extremely tough, especially the sleep deprivation.
That was when I discovered this sort of social media - quite by accident.
It helped to be able to have social chat without having to leave home.
Otherwise I would have been profoundly isolated.

I don't know the particulars of your situation, so I'm not sure what's possible.
In some places there are local charities who can provide volunteer helpers who can give you respite for a few hours a week. It's not much, but it can make a world of difference in helping relieve the stress.

If you can get away for a walk in nature once a day, or just do and hour of something you really enjoy, that could help.

I started writing.

Coffee, relaxation and focusing on the moment rather than the whole day. Make a list of things to do
Have a good day I hope

I don't think about it, I just do it and usually it goes by quickly if I'm busy.
