She can pay you back little by little, or if she's not spent the money she's taken, you can get it back. But if you want her to have the money, let it go. Protect the rest of your student loan though!!

@SW-User if she did pay it back little by little i dont think I'd see it cleared for 20 years, and im not sure that is worth it. My student debt is wiped 5 years after that.

@jonesey911 Don't pay any more board. And let this issue go. Protect the rest of your loan

What a loser mother you have.
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Horrible position to be in !
She must know that !
Would she consider giving you something in terms of collateral until she's able to repay it ?

@Picklebobble2 she has nothing of worth that she could use as collateral. And i haven't spoken to she about paying it back, she earns minimum wage, if she paid what she could afford each month, then i might not see it back for 20 years.
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
@jonesey911 But at least it shows intent and willingness to want to put it right.

Take her to court if she doesn't give it back. Any bad move she makes with that portion (that she never asked for, nor has the right to access) of loans will affect your credit.
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
The lenders should have just paid the money directly to the college.
jonesey911 · 26-30, M
@JoyfulSilence they pay a portion to the college and a portion to me, it was the bit to me she took out of
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
She is an awful person.
Spoiledbrat · F
Hmmm weird. Why so much?
Spoiledbrat · F
Do you live at home? @jonesey911
jonesey911 · 26-30, M
@Spoiledbrat yeah, i do
Spoiledbrat · F
I would try reasoning with her. Remind her that you need that money to help you to meet your goals. @jonesey911
DiamondPrincess89 · 31-35, F
Matter fact, report her to the authorities for theft.
Allelse · 36-40, M
Get a lawyer.
jonesey911 · 26-30, M
@Allelse i dont have to money for one, and she earns just over minimum wage
Allelse · 36-40, M
@jonesey911 Do you have the transaction evidence that she took it out of your loan money?
SW-User
Well that's awful
