The same thing it's always needed. Love. Instead, people try to substitute hate, and they wonder why it doesn't work.

@LordShadowfire I was going to say love too, but that's too specific imo.
Acceptance is more realistic, bc that would mean more people accept those different to them, but not necessarily love them.
To me, love indicates something beyond acceptance and respect.
