Do you ever get those moments where you're very motivated and inspired but the energy just isn't there?

I'm eager to do all this stuff and have a million ideas rn, but I'm just exhausted so I end up just sitting here and looking at my PC screen, lol

Opposite. I finally have time and energy but no inspiration and idea whatsoever.

@CrazyMusicLover Im not sure which is worse

@CrazyMusicLover I always keep a journal hand to jot down ideas when I have them but can't express them, so when I do get the time and energy, I use my journal for inspiration, 😅

@Fishy Properly organized! 🙂

@Nothinginparticular more like chaotically organised 😅

@Fishy It's more like any idea I had before seems "what for?" now. 😅 I need to search for reasons to do anything first because now it's like "everything has already been done" or "whatever I do, AI prompt could probably do it in less than a second now" 🙈
I have tons of unfinished projects dragging since 2020 or 2021 and now when I look at them it's... what for? 😅🙈

@CrazyMusicLover yeah, ai has been kinda a buzz kill

@Fishy It's the invention of photography all over again but I see no Renoir or Picasso yet. 😅 If art wants to evolve, we need to find something AI can't do.
Fishy · 36-40, F
@CrazyMusicLover which is getting harder, lol

They even trying to get ai to make speed paint videos so that it looks like it was made by a human 🫩

@Fishy I mean, I'm not completely opposed to the idea. I just want to know that I'm not spending half of my life learning to manually do something that can be done by generative art in seconds.
Fishy · 36-40, F
@CrazyMusicLover yeah same, lol

@CrazyMusicLover tbf tho,

There is somewhat of a market still out there.

There are a lot of people who oppose ai art,
So if you can prove that you're the one making it, then you might be able to gain a following just because you're a human who makes art from scratch.

On the downside, you will get people scrutinizing everything about your art and trying to point out that its ai even tho it's not 😂
