I tell my girl we often get the best stuff out of the hardest things we do. Be proud of your courage to do the hard thing! You’re doing an amazing job. 🤗🤗🤗😄
You’re doing great! 112 days is no easy feat. Today is no different than past 112 days you’ve chosen not to listen to that lil voice and cave and just drink
It’s good that you’re admitting today is a struggle though, and that you reached out to your sponsor
@WaryWitchWandering Thank you for that! I honestly didn't think I'd make it 3 months. So many times I was at the brink of trying to numb the memories and stop the thoughts entering my mind.
That’s awesome! Keep up the good work. I’ve been trying to make life changes for myself as well and while sobriety wasn’t something I’m trying to change, addiction to food as a stress relief is. So I know every day is a win when you’re trying to make your life go in a positive direction.
@Spumoni this is one of my big fears, because I’m trying to get in shape again. I can NOT get any bigger or I will be very uncomfortable in my skin (more than usual haha)
Good choice to call your sponsor. I remember hearing the three key actions on those situations are to call your sponsor, call a sober friend, and go to a meeting.
Wow my friend, that is fantastic!! Good on you for reaching out to your sponsor and making it to 112 days...that is frigging amazing!!! You should be so proud of yourself...I am super stoked for you 🤗🤗🤗
@Spumoni me too. keeping an attitude of gratitude is key. I have my own addictive tendencies. It’s not alcohol or drugs… but equally destructive. Be safe and be well. 🦋
