What do you like about science?

Science is the quest for truth using the only tools at our disposal. Science done correctly ultimately rejects any explanation that cannot be supported by verifiable evidence.

I like engineering and medical science for making our lives better. I like astrophysics for understanding how the universe works. I like that everything in science is testable and/or measurable and/or observable.

There are various sides of it.
One of them is the open, humble scientific attitude.
Besides some individuals, it´s the cultural intrinsic view of the scientific communiy.

There is no understanding or improving life without it .

Meteorology and biology and fun chemistry experiments

the true beauty of the universe only shows in math

It’s largely based on empirical facts

Advancements that are made in healthcare.

Everything. Including what cannot be explained.

It's always logical, like me.

It changes all the time.

The quest for truth.

That it's so inefficient. Thus, the need for engineers

I like how it really pisses off republicans

I like how I can have a biased view on something, find one study that suggests my view is correct, ignore all the other ones and then state my view alongside the words ‘trust the science’ with a link to the one study
