Genuinely... where would I even use half the things I learn in school??

Like... how is having to know how to evaluate algebraic equations with mixed and irregular fractions going to be something practical to know?? Like, they could've been teaching us how to be adults, how to do taxes, how to budget properly, how to develop proper social skills, and manage finances... but no, because algebra and physics is so important

Algebea and physics are very important in certain jobs!
@Strictmichael75 yeah, obviously, but are they important in enough jobs instead of just a select few to be justified being mandatory to learn?? over learning something actually useful???

I learnt a lot of trig at school and never thought it would be useful..... Up until I studied electronics and ACA THEORY.... It's full of trig....

Your teachers are training you how to think for yourself and solve advanced problems independently. Get these things right and the rest will follow effortlessly (apart from the social skills, unfortunately).
