y you shoulod never even sleep with someone from outside your beliefs

my brother in law and his daughters' mom are fighting over if their daughter should attend our church school or public school. They have been fighting about this all summer and frankly its getting on everyone in the house's' nerves. his wife was hiding in my room with me last night while they were arguing over the phone. its not her decision really hes got full custody of their daughter and shes better off at the private church school getting a better education but she thinks she be better at the public schools she attended.

I think its should be a crime to teach religious ideas to children before they have developed the autonomy of thinking to decide for themselves what they want to believe in. its basically brainwashing. a healthy mind must question everything and to install a dogma in that mind before it has time to develop limits the development of they mental skills.

@reflectingmonkey so we shouldnt take our kids to church and they learn about god in sunday school and childrens church youre crazy. the students at our school learn the subjects also taught in public schools and are academically ahead of public school kids. the kid im talking about just started prek and knows her letters and the sounds they make, can count to 20, and write her name just to name a few skills she has stuff that public school kids arent even expected to know til starting kidergarten

@reflectingmonkey what is your opinion on them being taught about gender matters, lgbt......., etc. at that age?

@mousmranony a delicate subject right now haha . first , I think that adult sexual identity is strongly related to culture, I don't believe we are born with a sexual identity, I think it develops through experience and culture. I think in the vast majority of cases we are born with a certain set of genitalia and based on what we have between our legs we look at what people with the same junk are doing and we try to follow these guidelines in order to fit in with our culture. I think its very important to help kids identify with the culturally determined gender role associated with their genitalia in order to become happy, adapted adults. this new idea that we should not impose a gender role on them and tell , for example, a boy that he might be a girl will confuse way more people than help. I meditate, when I close my eyes and sit as my "true self" , I am only incarnate awareness, my inner self doesnt have a gender, my body has a gender. i have a penis therefore I was thought to follow a male culturally determined gender role. i am awareness living in a body that has a penis so therefore I am a man.
