Summer Time

Hey everyone!!! I’m back at the end of my Junior year, it’s fun to think I’m almost at the end of high school but also nerve wracking to think I’m going to be out of high school next year. Any tips from anyone about becoming an adult? :)

In my experience, to become an adult, one should listen, think, care, and realize that you will HAVE TO rely on other people.

Dance. Sing. Eat well. Appreciate the beauty in all, especially yourself.

Don't fear asking for help. Know that you will make tons of mistakes.

AND...Relax.

You have a year of high school left and high school years are like 10 adult years, so enjoy

Reading the first comments, I see that you are getting some good advice. I would add that you need to believe in yourself. You will face challenges, but have confidence in your abilities. You won't win all the time, but you will grow as you go.

Invest early if you can. If you aren't absolutely in love with idea of pursuing a job that requires a degree, consider a trade such as plumbing or electrical. But even if you go into a trade, don't be afraid to take a couple extra classes and broaden your horizons. Talk to people from as many different walks of life and cultures as you can. And try to remain open to new information throughout your life.

I'm 70 years old now - and I don't think I'm ever going to become an adult! Just enjoy your life, one day at a time.🤗

Take in as much information as you can because one is never done learning.
