Fixation and obsession are only healthy when it comes to situations and things you can control (Eg. Schoolwork). You're really just being led astray by your mating instincts at this point, and it's probably going to end in disappointment (Statistically, 80% of relationships fail). I would advise not getting overly excited about future prospects, and keep that reserved for your actual girl. Focus on getting yourself established and educated first, don't give into the fomo.

@SnailTeeth im open to that option, my mind set is: if it has to happen, it will happen, and yeah, maybe it is hormones, im growing up and its normal, is a part of life you probably went thru too, and its just like- a spark of her that makes me interested, we have a lot in common, and its probably the nicest person i have met, i have liked her since i was 7 man,

@Birthdaycries That's a long time, she would likely have pursued you by now, I really wouldn't invest any hope without coming clean with her. Everything is nice from a distance, but the main thing is to be forthcoming. Technically, befriending someone with the hopes of something more evolving is considered stalking in the eyes of the authority, whether or not you see it that way. It sounds like puppy love. It sounds like you're putting this on a pedestal is all. I'm just trying to be a voice of reason. If you're not going to make the move soon, you should really let that flame burn out and never really settle or anticipate a future with someone until you know it's mutual. I think you're really just building yourself up to be let down.
