the school system is a joke

How y'all got tons of business professors teaching business when they never owned a successful business. If they did, they wouldn't be teaching a class.

Yeah I once had a fat PE teacher who would scream at us to run fastering while she was literally sitting down eating ice cream
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@SkeetSkeet that’s pretty funny
Lara08 · F
because you dont want criminals teaching your kids... noone ever got rich by hard work alone
empanadas · 31-35, M
@Lara08 yes many did by working hard. They just know where to invest their money and not spend money on useless things. To say business people are all criminals is like saying all white people are racist
MellyMel22 · F
It’s true though. I remember thinking that about my business management teacher who thought she was the God of the area 🤣
MellyMel22 · F
@empanadas I wasn’t even aware of that! My college still emails me for fundraising- maybe if you pay my student loans off first 😒
empanadas · 31-35, M
@MellyMel22 exactly, I have lost so much trust in fundraising and non profits. Majority of that money goes to paying themselves and their employees. Only a small percentage actually goes to the cause they are marketing. If that college really wanted to help, they would give a portion of their revenue to those causes and not under some fundraiser they created.
MellyMel22 · F
@empanadas Yes! I’m done donating. I ask around and post if anyone needs whatever it is, it’s theirs free. I’ll toss it before I give it to a supposed charity that overcharges people who go in there who can’t afford to buy new stuff.

It’s to my understanding that they teach the financial literacy, software skills, and approaches necessary to launch/run a business 🤔 most people who obtain those degrees aren’t planning to be entrepreneurs, but rather be a desirable candidate for a higher up position in a pre-existing company. If someone is planning to be an entrepreneur than they could probably learn some of the needed skills/operational knowledge by getting a certificate or something at a community college rather than a bachelors degree.

It’s great if someone already knows a successful business owner who is willing to take them on as an apprentice, but most people don’t.

My high school government teacher was a full-blown conspiracy theorist. It was f*cking hilarious because she looked and acted just like Napoleon Dynamite's grandma

They collect a paycheck to make the class teach themselves. That’s why.
empanadas · 31-35, M
@Reject exactly! Also, These colleges don't pay taxes. Yet, we are supposed to pay now with our taxes the loans for students who have been overcharged. It's unjust. There's are some really useful degrees but students shouldn't be charged an arm and a leg to get them.

@empanadas I remember seeing all these videos of these college students crying on tiktok because of how much they lost going to college. It made me happy I never went.
and a "masters of business administration" has nothing to do with being good at running a company.
it IS alla bout knowing how to fill out a billion financial papers

Now I know who is reporting you, business professors. A professor is a person who professes something to be true. Than Iam a professor of silliness!! True, true 😆 🤪
